About Us

Mr. Sherman has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of California at Davis with a major in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning with a specialty emphasis in Urban and Regional Planning. He obtained his law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California where he received honors recognition in coursework for both legal research and appellate advocacy, and received an American Jurisprudence award for achievement in his coursework on the subject of Real Property. He was also in the Editor-in-Chief of his law school’s quarterly student newspaper – The Restater.

 

He has argued cases before the United States District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California, the California Supreme Court, California Court of Appeal in the First, Second and two divisions of the Fourth Appellate District, and numerous Superior Courts throughout the State of California.

 

Prior to his almost 20 years of private law practice, Mr. Sherman worked as an advisor with the Business and Environmental Assistance Center, the City Attorney’s Consumer and Environmental Protection Unit of the City of San Diego, and was a Planning Advisor to a seat of one Provincial Government in the Solomon Islands as a Peace Corps Volunteer.
